So I was in the mood for a nice warm drink to help me get into the Christmas Spirit and this is what I came up with using the stuff in my cabinets.
I used the homemade vanilla extract I created a few months ago, some warm milk. Of course, I am dairy free so I used Ripple milk but you could use regular milk. I also added in some coconut rum and a drop of cinnamon bark essential oil. Remember only use essential oils that are labeled for internal use when cooking.
It only takes a few minutes to make this drink. I just warmed the milk on the stove and whisked it while it was warming so that it would froth a little. Once it was hot I whisked in the rum, vanilla, and essential oils. To finish it off I sugar coated the rim of the glass them poured it into a fun glass.
