Itβs fall and that means itβs Pumpkin spice everything! Who can resist that warm smelling scent?
I know itβs tempting to purchase those sweet-smelling soaps from those shops in the mall but beware many of those have dangerous chemicals in them. Including toxic chemicals that can disrupt your endocrine system.
Take the extra 5 mins and make this homemade one, it will save you money and it makes a great hostess gift too!
Here is what you need:
- Foaming hand soap container (here is a link to the one I used)
- 5 drops of Clove Essential oil*
- 5 drops of Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil*
- 5 drops of Nutmeg Essential Oil*
- 3 tablespoons of liquid Castile Soap
- Vitamin E Oil (optional)
- Pinch of Salt
Mix all those together in the contain and then fill the rest with water slowly. Put the cap on and shake, thatβs it!
The Vitamin E will help soften your hands and salt is to help keep the oils suspended. The essential oils are wonderful to help your immune system this time of the year and smell great!
I just printed out the label and βwaterproofedβ it by placing packing tape over the top. Then I just rolled another piece of tape to attach it to the bottle. I wanted to make it easy to come off since I will probably put in a Christmas theme soap in after we have used up the Pumpkin Spice Soap
*I only use Young Living Essential Oils, find out more here.
