Battling my dog’s fall allergies with natural solutions

My poor little dog every fall has horrible allergies, like itching so bad that he has no fur left and is sometimes bleeding. I have no idea what he is actually allergic to but whatever it disappears in mid-November.

Here is what my poor guy looked like in early October:

dog fall allergy

We have been to the vet so many times and have gone through so many different medications. Year’s past I have learned that feeding him homemade food and making sure to wipe his paws off every time he goes outside has worked more wonders for his allergies than any of the expensive medications.

Now I feel bad as this year I haven’t been on top of homemaking Baxter’s food like I usually do. 2020 has been such a crazy year for everyone and it has my routine all screwed up.

The shortcut I found to help my dog’s fall allergy

During the Nourish Festival, I was contacted by a PawTree consultant and she sent me some samples of their product. I was like sure ok, but wasn’t really excited about it. Well I had the samples on the counter and within hours my cat chewed open the package, then knocked it on the floor and the dogs just ripped the packaging to shreds. I was like ok wow you guys must really like this stuff. Since the animals ravaged those samples I decided to look into their product more. I tried out their pet profile system and it recommended products that can naturally help with my dog’s fall allergies.

Currently, I have switched to their food and are using the wild Alaskan Salmon oil and Allergy support plus chews. I was wondering if it was working, then I ran out of the allergy plus and he was right back to itching all day long! So for now until the end of November, they are on EZ ship so I don’t run out again.

So while making his own food is still the best, at least now I have some other options until this crazy 2020 year is done!

Here he is today, his fur is growing back and now he does his usual sleep while I work away in my office.

I can’t create the pet profile because I don’t have a “mobile phone”!
