Easy Rosemary and Lavender Soap

I love making my own scented soaps. They are awesome for gifts and it’s always just fun to experiment with different scents.

Lately I have been drawn to Rosemary oil so I thought I would combine my two favorites Lavender and Rosemary. Now I do cheat a little and buy my soap base. For me it’s a little easier then trying to make the entire project from scratch.

Here is what you need:

Lavender and Rosemary oils are both great for the skin.

First you need to melt the soap base. The Wilton Candy melt pot works great but it does take a little longer than doing a double boiler over the stove.

Once the soap base is melted, add in the lavender, rosemary, oils and mix. Then pour into the soap molds. You can find really cute molds at many craft stores or Amazon.

Let them harden at room temperature or you can place them in the fridgerator.

If you are having trouble getting them out of the molds, just pop them in the freezer for a bit. There you have it, easy peasy.
