Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, rosemary, brown sugar, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add Nuts: Add the mixed nuts to the bowl and toss them in the mixture until they are well coated.
  4. Bake: Spread the coated nuts evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the nuts are golden and fragrant. Be careful not to let them burn.
  6. Cool: Remove from the oven and let them cool completely before serving.
